Marietta Power is dedicated to providing its customers with a professional tree trimming program to help ensure safe and reliable electric service.
Trees are one of the major causes of power outages. We must trim or remove trees on a regular cycle that are located near power lines. When tree limbs are too close to power lines, they can interrupt electric service and create hazardous conditions. Tree limbs also provide pathways for squirrels to gain access to vital equipment on our poles resulting in another major cause of outages.

Wood Chips
Wood chips are available to Marietta Power customers at no cost. We will deliver within the service area. We have a stock pile area at the North Marietta Parkway Board of Lights and Water office complex that is open to our customers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. The stock pile is located behind the Marietta Power and Water building.
