Marietta Water operates and maintains
- 275+ miles of wastewater collection pipe
- 1 wastewater pump station
The main focus of our day to day operations is to prevent wastewater overflows. Our crews respond to over 1200 calls per year. In addition we perform planned activities to maintain service and protect our streams. These include cleaning 20% of our system each year and television inspections of 5% of the system each
year to identify specific problems in need of repair.
In addition we have a capital improvement program designed to replace infrastructure when it is no
longer reliable.
